FOUR men were arrested after a sport utility vehicle owned by a municipal councilor in Amulung, Cagayan, was reportedly stolen and later intercepted at a checkpoint in Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, on Monday.

A Toyota Fortuner reported stolen in Amulung, Cagayan, was intercepted at a checkpoint in Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya, with four people held for investigation.
Police recovered a Glock 19 Gen. 4 pistol loaded with 13 rounds of 9mm ammunition, along with identification cards and other items inside the SUV.
The Fortuner and an accompanying Toyota Veloz were stopped by joint police units on 14 September after authorities alerted neighboring stations about the reported theft.
The four individuals, identified only by their aliases “Roman,” “Sonny,” “Joel” and “Jules,” were brought to the Santa Fe Municipal Police Station for verification and further investigation.
