The De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute (DLSMHSI) ranked first among schools in the August 2026 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (MTLE), the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Monday, 24 August 2026.

DLSMHSI posted a 98.59 percentage passing rate, with 140 of its 142 examinees passing the licensure exam.

The PRC said the result of one examinee was withheld pending the final determination of the examinee’s liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

The PRC conducted the MTLE on 15 and 16 August in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The University of Pangasinan ranked second with a 98.00 percentage passing rate, followed by Our Lady of Fatima University–Antipolo City and the University of Santo Tomas, both with 97.56 percentage. Silliman University ranked fifth with a 96.97 percentage passing rate.
