Police arrested two high-value drug personalities and confiscated P710,000 worth of suspected shabu and kush during a buy-bust operation in Barangay CAA BF International, Las Piñas City on Thursday night.
The suspects were identified by the alias Nerissa, 34, a rice seller and resident of Las Piñas City, and alias Eugene, 26, a housekeeper and resident of Parañaque City, both newly identified high-value individuals.
At about 10:50 p.m. on 6 August 2026, the joint operating elements executed the anti-illegal drug operation along Banaba Street, Barangay CAA BF International.
The operation resulted in the seizure of four heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 100 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated standard drug price of P680,000, and three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing more or less 20 grams of suspected kush (cannabis) valued at P30,000.
Operatives also recovered the buy-bust money and a mobile phone used in the illicit transaction.
The suspects were turned over to the Southern Police District's Drug Enforcement Unit for proper documentation and the preparation of criminal charges for violations of Section 5 (Sale) and Section 11 (Possession), Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
