TARLAC ELECTRIC INC. : Notice of Annual Stockholders' Meeting

DT·28 May 2026

  • The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) activated its Overall Command Center on Monday to help maintain the stability of the country's power transmission network during President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s State of the Nation Address (SONA).

"NGCP's contingency plans remain in place to closely monitor the grid and immediately address any power transmission disturbances," the transmission operator said.

NGCP said critical units, particularly System Operations and Operations and Maintenance, are fully staffed and operational.

The Overall Command Center will operate from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Line crews, engineers, pilots, maintenance and testing personnel, and other technical teams have also been strategically deployed across substations and key facilities to respond quickly to any line trippings or operational concerns.

NGCP said it will release updates on the status of substations and transmission lines every four hours throughout the day.
