A Palestinian national was arrested after allegedly stealing cash from a hotel in Barangay South Triangle, Quezon City.
The suspect, identified only by the alias “Ham,” 36, and a resident of Barangay Bahay Toro, allegedly entered the hotel’s café and took a cash bag and an empty cash box while the cashier was not looking.
Hotel security personnel immediately noticed the incident and apprehended the suspect before he could flee.
Officers from the Kamuning Police Station responded to the scene and took the suspect into custody.
Police said the suspect has previous criminal records with the Kamuning Police Station.
Authorities recovered P5,000 from the suspect. He is facing a theft charge.
