AMD has launched the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, expanding its Ryzen 7000 Series lineup with a new gaming-focused desktop processor priced at a suggested retail price of $329.

The processor is aimed at PC enthusiasts and gamers looking for AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology at a more affordable price point. According to AMD, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D delivers improved gaming performance over the standard Ryzen 7 7700X while remaining compatible with existing AM5 motherboards, allowing users to upgrade without replacing their platform.

The Ryzen 7 7700X3D features 8 cores and 16 threads, a boost clock of up to 4.5 GHz, a 120W TDP, and 104MB of total cache.

AMD’s 3D V-Cache technology increases on-chip cache capacity to improve gaming performance by reducing memory latency in supported titles.

The Ryzen 7 7700X3D is now available worldwide through AMD’s retail partners.
