A Paris-based social climbing journalist of stratospheric proportions, Louis Pisano, took a swipe at fashion icon Heart Evangelista in his recent article, "Can You Be Woke at Couture?"

Unapologetically ballistic in his aria, Pisano unabashedly admitted Evangelista was his inspiration for his Couture & Corruption series.

"Just before the lights went down, I spotted a familiar face: Heart Evangelista, the Filipino actress, influencer and couture client who was actually the inspiration behind my Couture & Corruption series," he wrote about his encounter with Evangelista during the recent Paris Haute Couture Week.

Then, he pointed his accusatory finger on the fashion icon's husband, Senator Francis "Chiz" Escudero.

"Her husband, Senator Francis 'Chiz' Escudero, had been embroiled in scandals involving the alleged embezzlement of public funds, including money intended for flood relief and disaster aid. Many believed that Heart’s extravagant couture purchases were funded, at least in part, by these embezzled funds which led to protests with signs featuring her face and allegedly caused her to skip an entire couture season. And yet here she was again, back smiling serenely in the front row like none of it had ever happened. I wondered if I was the only one in the room that was even remotely curious about the truth," he wrote without offering any evidence.

Clearly, this agitator of a journalist wants to ride on the coattails of Evangelista's prominence in the global fashion world. He was in it for clout and does everything at whatever cost just to be relevant. His investigative posturing is aimed at his obvious avarice for global attention. What he has become is nothing but a famewhore of intergalactic proportion.

Netizens lambast Ivana Alawi for 'fake philantropy'

Actress and content creator Ivana Alawi surprised her 50 million followers on Facebook when she announced she will be buying 100 pieces if iPhones to be distributed to her followers.

And she did, even showing the receipt of her purchase amounting to more than four million pesos.

But there's more to it than just giving away free cellphone as she instructed her million followers to abide by the mechanics which revealed her association with an online gaming app.

That, for most netizens, brought a cloud of doubt about Alawi's sincerity to share whatever excess blessings she have.

"Kainis din 'yung ibang mga vloggers na patol sa kanya (It's irritating those vloggers who follow her). Why do we still support these vloggers kuno? Dirty money na nagpo-promote pa ng sugal, hilig pa niyan sa poverty porn (Dirty money then promoting gambling, she's also fond of poverty porn)," said one guy.

"They still have fans who justify what they're doing because it's really Ivana's job to promote, lol! She should use her platform in a good way," another guy opined.

"When will this Ivana lose her fame? She's already a gambler and now she's promoting it. How awful, goodness," one netizen commented.

Accepting the role of Abby, a die-hard fan of Kathryn Bernardo's Billy Carino character in Someone, Someday is no brainer for Maja Salvador.

"It's a multi-layered character. She was hurt so she will hurt," she said during her solo presscon for the series.

Maja shared she cried when she saw the trailer launch of her character.

"I cried. I've done so many shows but it's different when it's with ABS-CBN. I feel that whatever role I was given, I know that my Dreamscape family in ABS-CBN will not neglect me," she said in Filipino.

"So, my acceptance to this role is not something I will regret because I believe it's just right for me to accept this character really," she added.

Salvador revealed she and Bernardo did not share the same tent together.

"If we're on the same tent, we will not be able to finish a scene because we will not stop sharing stories together. As soon as we arrive on the set, we're already separated."
