Kathryn Bernardo and James Reid expressed their gratitude to viewers around the world after their comeback series, Someone, Someday, continued its reign as the number one TV show on Netflix Philippines while also entering the streaming platform’s Top 10 rankings in Singapore and Malaysia.
In an interview on TV Patrol, Bernardo thanked fans for embracing the series not only in the Philippines but also overseas.
“We are very grateful sa lahat ng Kapamilyas natin na sumubaybay not just on Netflix in the Philippines but also sa iba’t ibang parte ng mundo. I heard maganda rin ‘yung pagtanggap sa Singapore and also in Malaysia. Grabe nakakatuwa siya (We are very grateful to all our Kapamilyas who have been supporting us — not just on Netflix in the Philippines, but from different parts of the world as well. I heard the series has also been very well received in Singapore and Malaysia. It’s truly heartwarming),” she said.
Reid likewise shared his appreciation, saying the response to the series exceeded his expectations.
“We just want to say thank you, mga Kapamilya, for all the support, for the warm welcome for this very hot first week. Honestly, your support and the reactions exceeded my expectations, so thank you so much,” he said.
The romantic drama follows Billy (Bernardo) and Jordan (Reid) as they investigate the person behind the hacking of their dating app, LoveList. At the same time, Abi (Maja Salvador) begins revealing her darker side as her admiration for Billy turns into a dangerous obsession.
