Robb Guinto is stepping into unfamiliar territory as she prepares to lead her first major live stage production, marking a new chapter beyond her successful screen career.
The VMX star will headline “SOLID GOLD: The Robb Guinto Experience” on July 29 at Viva Café, where she will perform alongside Roxanne De Vera, Margaret Sison, Paula Santos, and Aila Cruz in a night of music, dance, and live entertainment.
While gearing up for the milestone event, Guinto revealed that her boyfriend, actor Yasser Marta, has been nothing but encouraging about the project. She shared that she had already told him about the show’s concept and believes his trust has never wavered.
“Actually support naman siya sa lahat ng ginagawa ko,” Robb said, adding that mutual confidence has helped keep their relationship strong despite the nature of their work.
The actress admitted that feelings of jealousy can naturally arise in any relationship, but emphasized that open communication and trust matter more than anything else.
Beyond performing, Guinto also became heavily involved in shaping the concert itself. She personally curated most of the songs that audiences will hear, working closely with the production team to create a setlist that reflects her personality and musical taste.
Her hands-on participation, she said, allowed the show to feel more authentic and personal as she introduces fans to another side of her artistry.
Robb also made it clear that she has no reservations about collaborating with fellow Viva artist Claudia Barretto, who was previously linked to Marta. According to the actress, she chooses to focus on the present rather than dwell on relationships that are already part of the past.
She explained that she has never made it a habit to ask about her partner’s former romances, believing that revisiting old relationships only creates unnecessary misunderstandings.
Known as one of VMX’s most recognizable leading ladies, Guinto has built an impressive film résumé through projects such as X-Deal 2, Sugar Baby, Vigilante, Ligaw, Kiskisan, Foursome, Kaulayaw, Showroom, and Unang Tikim. She has also appeared in television programs including Pepito Manaloto, Black Rider, Bubble Gang, Tadhana, and Mga Batang Riles.
With her first live production just around the corner, Guinto is ready to prove that her talents extend far beyond the camera, embracing the challenge of commanding the stage in front of a live audience.
