Hotel101 Global has signed definitive agreements with Thailand's Origin Property Plc to develop a 770-room Hotel101-Bangkok, marking the Filipino hospitality firm's latest overseas expansion and entry into one of Southeast Asia's largest tourism markets.
The project will rise on an 8,336-square-meter site along Phahon Yothin Road, near Don Mueang International Airport and directly beside the Yaek Kor Por Aor BTS Station, providing access to Bangkok's rail network and key commercial districts.
Hotel101 said the development is expected to generate about 1.925 billion baht ($58 million) in sales revenue once fully sold and could become one of the three largest hotels in Bangkok by room count. Completion is targeted by 2029.
The Bangkok property will offer 4-star accommodations and facilities, including meeting and conference spaces, all-day dining, a swimming pool, gym, business center and children's pool.
The project forms part of Hotel101 Global's international expansion strategy following the opening of Hotel101-Madrid in Spain earlier this year. The company is also preparing to open the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Japan in December and plans to add 2,229 new rooms globally in 2026, including projects in Davao and Cebu.
Hotel101 Global, a subsidiary of Philippine-listed DoubleDragon Corp., is pursuing its goal of operating 1 million hotel rooms across 100 countries through its standardized "condotel" model.
