GameZone launches nationwide GameZone Tour
Published on

Digital entertainment platform GameZone has officially unveiled the GameZone Tour, marking a new phase in its competitive table game offerings as it builds on the success of previous nationwide tournaments.

The launch follows strong turnout and engagement from the Tongits Champions Cup and the GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup Summer Showdown and September Arena, where the country’s top players competed in high-stakes tournaments featuring the top 36 players per season.

GameZone said the new tour reflects its push to elevate competitive play, offering players a chance to compete on a larger stage while promoting strategic gameplay and community engagement under its “Real Player, Real Game” platform.

Entering 2026, the brand is expanding its tournament lineup beyond Tongits, with traditional favorites such as Pusoy and Poker set to be introduced in later stages of the tour. Previous champions include Mark Austria, winner of the 2024 Tongits Champions Cup; Benigno Casaruyan, champion of the 2025 GTCC Summer Showdown; and Jomar Sapo-an, winner of the 2025 GTCC September Arena.

Formerly known as the GameZone Tablegame Champions Cup, the GameZone Tour will feature four seasons in 2026, with matches broadcast live to provide both new and experienced players with a premium tournament experience. Organizers also announced the addition of a new pound-for-pound brand ambassador and expanded player-versus-player formats, alongside higher-stakes prize pools.

The tour will be supported by nationwide roadshows and community activations led by DigiPlus Interactive Corp. and GameZone, aimed at bringing competitive gaming closer to local communities. These efforts will run alongside responsible gaming campaigns and corporate social responsibility initiatives in partnership with the DigiPlus Foundation.

The online phase of the GameZone Tour is currently underway and runs from January until late February. This phase will serve as the qualifying stage for the offline tournament scheduled for the first week of March, giving players across the country an opportunity to join the inaugural season of the newly rebranded tour.

DigiPlus Interactive Corp., which operates GameZone, is also behind leading digital platforms BingoPlus and ArenaPlus, known for interactive gaming and sports entertainment experiences.
