Mayon Volcano in Albay recorded 19 volcanic earthquakes over the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) reported on Monday.
From 12 a.m. Sunday to 12 a.m. Monday, the agency also logged 297 rockfall events and 57 pyroclastic density currents (PDCs).
PHIVOLCS said a visible crater glow continues to be observed at the volcano. Plumes were also reported, although they were largely obscured from view.
Sulfur dioxide emissions reached 3,788 tonnes on Sunday, indicating sustained volcanic activity.
Authorities said monitoring remains ongoing to assess potential hazards to nearby communities.
