The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has rolled out a series of health and social welfare initiatives early this year, ranging from medical equipment donations and community health missions to the release of a multimillion-peso lotto prize.

In Mandaluyong City, PCSO turned over three Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) worth P485,892.87 to the Armed Forces of the Philippines, specifically the 101st Ready Reserve Infantry Brigade Battalion. The AEDs are intended to support emergency response during military training and operations, particularly in cases of cardiac emergencies.

The agency also distributed medical devices and wheelchairs to Barangay San Pascual in Obando, Bulacan, in line with its corporate social responsibility program. The equipment is expected to enhance the barangay’s capacity to provide basic health services, especially for senior citizens and persons with disabilities.

Meanwhile, PCSO conducted a medical and dental mission in San Mateo, Rizal, where more than 200 residents received free healthcare services. The mission covered medical consultations, electrocardiogram examinations, dental services, and the distribution of free medicines and vitamins. The activity was carried out by PCSO’s medical team as part of the agency’s continuing efforts to bring accessible healthcare to communities.

Apart from its health initiatives, PCSO also released the Mega Lotto 6/45 jackpot prize of P13.8 million to a government employee from Camiling, Tarlac, who won the draw held on December 24, 2025. The winner claimed the prize at the PCSO main office on January 8, 2026, and said he plans to manage the winnings carefully for his family’s long-term needs.

PCSO said the programs reflect its mandate to provide medical assistance, community support, and charitable services funded largely through lottery revenues, while reminding the public to play lotto games responsibly.
