The Asean-Korea Round Music Festival (AKMF), which brings together Asian artists in hopes of promoting cooperation through music, is heading to the Philippines for a two-day show in April. 

The 2026 iteration of the AKMF was announced by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) last 29 December, where the festival will be held in partnership with South Korean network KBS World and the Round Secretariat.

“As the Philippines assumes the role of Asean Chair Country for 2026, this year’s festival is set to be the largest in the history of ROUND. The event will take place at the iconic Araneta Coliseum in Manila, a venue celebrated as the heart of Filipino popular culture,” the announcement read.

The two-day festival will be held free of charge at the Araneta Coliseum on 18 and 19 April. Further details are yet to be announced.

Confirmed to perform at the AKMF are singer-songwriter 10cm from South Korea, as well as local acts KAIA and HORI7ON.

Presented by KBS, the AKMF is an annual music festival that brings together artists from South Korea and 10 ASEAN countries. The host countries change per year, except in 2020 and 2021, which were held online with pre-recorded performances due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
