Vice Ganda, Emma Tiglao show support at 2026 Queen of Quiapo pageant

The streets of Quiapo came alive with glamour and devotion as the Queen of Quiapo Beauty Pageant 2026 unfolded alongside the annual Black Nazarene festivities in Quiapo, Manila.

Held every year as part of the religious celebration, the pageant once again drew massive crowds, blending faith, culture, and LGBT pageantry into a uniquely Filipino spectacle that has become a fixture of the Quiapo festivities.

This year’s edition was elevated by the presence of major personalities who came to show their support. Among them was Vice Ganda, the Unkabogable Star and 2025 MMFF Best Actor, whose appearance energized the audience. Reigning Emma Tiglao delighted fans with a surprise runway moment, confidently strutting on stage and recreating her now-iconic pageant introduction. Also lending star power was internationally recognized Filipino shoe designer Jojo Bragais, underscoring the event’s strong link to fashion and creative excellence.

With more than 70 candidates competing across multiple titles, the pageant stretched late into the day, a familiar hallmark of the Queen of Quiapo competition and a testament to both its scale and enduring popularity. The extended program reflected the depth of the competition and the enthusiastic participation of the Quiapo community.

As the night concluded, cheers erupted as the new titleholders were crowned—queens who now carry the honor of representing Quiapo’s spirit, beauty, and resilience throughout 2026.
