West Zone concessionaire Maynilad Water Services Inc. is offering free septic tank cleaning services this January to residential and semi-business customers in selected areas of Metro Manila and Cavite.
The desludging service covers households in parts of Las Piñas, Manila, Muntinlupa, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, Valenzuela, and several areas in Cavite Province. The service, which normally costs around P4,700 per truck, will be provided at no additional charge to eligible customers.
According to Maynilad, the program is part of its sanitation efforts to reduce untreated wastewater discharge into waterways and to help prevent health risks linked to poorly maintained septic systems.
