Pop superstar Taylor Swift has donated $1 million to Feeding America just days before Christmas, providing a major boost to hunger relief efforts during the holiday season.
According to CBS News, Feeding America confirmed the donation on Tuesday, with CEO Claire Babineaux-Fontenot expressing deep gratitude for the support. She said the contribution highlights the impact collective action can have in addressing food insecurity, particularly at a time when many families struggle to put meals on the table.
Feeding America, which operates a nationwide network of food banks, pantries, and meal programs, has been facing rising demand. Recent research cited by CBS News showed that about 14 percent of U.S. households experienced food insecurity between January and October 2025. Babineaux-Fontenot previously noted that demand has increasingly outpaced supply, with food distribution lines often longer than available resources.
Swift has not publicly commented on the donation, and her representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment, the report said.
