The Bataan Police reported that illegal drugs worth approximately Php 714,000 were seized during a buy-bust operation at Barangay San Jose, Balanga City, Bataan, on 12 December 2025.
The Bataan PPDEU (lead unit), Bataan PIU, Balanga CPS SDEU, and PDEA Bataan Provincial Office conducted the buy-bust operation, which resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old suspect known by the alias “Kalbo.”
The suspect is a resident of Barangay Poblacion, Mariveles, Bataan, and is listed as a high-value individual.
Confiscated from the suspect were one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, obtained in exchange for one genuine P1,000 bill and eight pieces of fake P1,000 boodle money.
Authorities also confiscated two additional heat-sealed plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing approximately 105 grams, with an estimated standard drug price of P714,000.
The suspect is now under the custody of Balanga CPS, and cases for violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act No. 9165 will be filed against him.
