Some P1.1-million worth of illegal drugs were confiscated during a buy-bust operation at Barangay Tuyo in Balanga City, Bataan on Friday.
According to the Bataan Police, the said operation also resulted in the arrest of a high value target who is also a resident of Barangay Moonwalk in Paranaque City.
The police reported that around 165 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1,122,000.00 were confiscated along with a black belt bag with drug paraphernalia, a bubble wrap, portable digital weighing scale, and OPP plastic.
The police also confiscated a P1,000 bill used as marked money along with 14 P1,000 boodle money used as buy-bust money.
The suspect is now under the custody of the Balanga City PNP, and cases for violations of Sections 5, 11, and 12, Article II of R.A. 9165 will be filed against him.
