One of the members of the legendary SexBomb Girls, Jackie Estevez, announced that she will not be able to join the group’s highly anticipated reunion concert due to medical reasons.
In a heartfelt post on Facebook, Jackie revealed that while she had been holding onto hope of flying back to the Philippines to perform with her fellow SexBomb members, her current condition prevents her from traveling.
“I’ve been going back and forth kung pano ko ippost to kasi sa totoo lang, umaasa pa rin ako na matutuloy ako sa pag-uwi and pagsali sa Sexbomb reunion concert. Pero dahil sa medical condition ko ngayon, ipinagbabawal ako lumipad o bumiyahe,” she wrote.
Jackie expressed how painful it was to step away from the long-awaited reunion, a project that has stirred excitement among fans who grew up watching the iconic dance group dominate television, music, and live performances in the early 2000s.
“Ang bigat sa puso ko to even say this, kasi gusto ko talagang makasama kayo at maramdaman ’yung energy ninyo, pero kailangan kong unahin muna ang health ko,” she added.
Despite her absence, Jackie assured her love and full support for her fellow SexBomb members, expressing gratitude to fans for their continued encouragement and understanding.
“Thank you so much sa lahat ng love, patience, at support nyo sa concert na ‘to—sobrang mahalaga sa’min ‘yun. For now, magfofocus muna ako sa pag-recover para makabalik ako nang mas malakas at makasama ko ulit kayo soon. I’ll be here supporting and cheering on my girls all the way!”
Jackie’s message quickly drew an outpouring of well-wishes from fans and colleagues, many of whom expressed hopes for her speedy recovery. Her post serves as both a moment of vulnerability and a reminder of the enduring sisterhood that defines the SexBomb legacy—one built on unity, passion, and love for their audience.
Even from afar, Jackie Estevez remains an integral part of the SexBomb story— her spirit and artistry continuing to inspire the fans who have followed her and the group for over two decades.
