A female High-Value Individual (HVI) was arrested and P408,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized during a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Miguel na Munti, Talavera, Nueva Ecija, on 10 November 2025.
Nueva Ecija Police Provincial Office (NEPPO) Provincial Director Police Col. Heryl Bruno said personnel of the Talavera Police Station led the anti-illegal drugs operation in the area.
A police poseur buyer, equipped with P1,000 buy-bust money, was able to purchase one plastic sachet of shabu from the suspect, a 42-year-old married and jobless resident of the barangay identified as a High-Value Individual.
Authorities seized one lighter, one weighing scale, five packs of transparent plastic sachets, one pair of scissors, and 10 additional sachets of shabu, with a total weight of 60 grams and a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P408,000.
A criminal complaint for violation of R.A. 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) is being prepared for filing before the Cabanatuan City Prosecutor’s Office.
