InnerVoices unveils Christmas single, new EP at Hard Rock Café Manila
Hard Rock Café Manila became the center of celebration and nostalgia as the pop-rock band InnerVoices held the official press launch of their newest singles. The highlight of the event was their first-ever original Christmas song, “Pasko sa Ating Puso,” alongside fresh original compositions such as “Shadows,” “I Will Wait for You in the Rain,” and “Saksi ang mga Tala.” It was an evening that celebrated the band’s music, artistry, and continued impact on the OPM scene as they also marked their recent victory on the Vibe.Ph music countdown.
“Pasko sa Ating Puso” captures the warmth and joy that define the Filipino holiday spirit. With tender harmonies and heartfelt lyrics, the song paints a vivid picture of togetherness amid life’s challenges — a reminder that Christmas is always alive in the Filipino heart. “Music connects us most deeply during Christmas,” shared vocalist Patrick Marcelino. “Through this song, we wanted to remind everyone that even when we’re apart, love and faith keep the season alive in our hearts.”
At the heart of the launch was the introduction of InnerVoices’ new Extended Play (EP) titled “Shadows,” produced under UMG Philippines Inc. in partnership with Kalesa Entertainment. The EP features three emotionally charged tracks written by Atty. Rey Bergado and arranged by Edward Mitra. “Shadows” is a haunting English ballad that speaks of heartbreak and lingering memories, while “Saksi ang mga Tala” is a modern kundiman where the stars stand as silent witnesses to eternal love. “I Will Wait for You in the Rain,” meanwhile, is an anthem of patience and faith — an ode to enduring love through life’s storms. “Each song in Shadows is a chapter of one story,” said Bergado. “It’s a trilogy of the heart — about pain, promise, and hope. They belong together.”
InnerVoices continues to capture the hearts of OPM listeners with songs that are both soulful and cinematic. As of October 20, 2025, the band reached the top spot on Vibe TV’s Uprising Universe music countdown with their hit “Sayaw sa Ilalim ng Buwan,” while “Saksi ang mga Tala” remains among the most voted songs. The group’s other new releases — “Meant to Be,” “Handa Na Kitang Mahalin,” “Galaw,” “Tubig Hangin Apoy Lupa,” and “Idlip” — are also streaming on all major digital platforms, each showcasing a different side of the band’s evolving artistry.
The band is composed of Patrick Marcelino on vocals, Rene Tecson on lead guitar, Atty. Rey Bergado on keyboards, Alvin Herbon on bass guitar, Joseph Cruz on keyboards and vocals, and Joseph “Jojo” Esparrago on drums, percussion, and vocals. Known for their authentic sound and passionate performances, InnerVoices continues to make waves in the Manila live music circuit. They regularly perform at Hard Rock Café Makati, Hard Rock Café Manila, Bar IX, Aromata, and Noctos, where their signature pop-rock energy draws both loyal fans and new listeners.
Over the years, InnerVoices has received multiple awards and recognitions that affirm their contribution to OPM. They won Inspirational Song of the Year at the 16th PMPC Star Awards for Music for “Isasayaw Kita” and Best Revival Song of the Year at the 14th PMPC Star Awards for Music for “Paano.” They were named Best Performance by a New Group Recording Artists at the 28th Awit Awards and were nominated for Duo/Group Artist of the Year at the 7th PMPC Star Awards for Music. They also earned nominations at the 1st WISHclusive Awards and were honored as Comeback Band of the Year at the Asia’s Triumphant Award. These accolades underscore their lasting influence and ability to resonate across generations.
With “Shadows” and “Pasko sa Ating Puso,” InnerVoices reaffirms their place as one of the most sincere and soulful acts in modern OPM. Their songs speak to the timeless human experience — love, loss, hope, and renewal — wrapped in melodies that touch both heart and memory. “After all these years, we still sing for the same reason,” reflects Bergado. “To move hearts, to heal souls, and to remind everyone that love, in all its forms, is always worth waiting for.”
“Shadows” and “Pasko sa Ating Puso” are now streaming on all major digital platforms under UMG Philippines and Kalesa Entertainment. InnerVoices continues to shine as a band that proves genuine music will always find its way into the hearts of listeners.
