Body recovered from Tarlac River

The body of an unidentified man was recovered from the Tarlac River on Wednesday morning, 3 September 2025.

According to the City Government of Tarlac, city information staff spotted the body via drone footage and immediately alerted authorities.

Police said the cause of death was drowning. The CDRRMO and Tarlac City Police responded to the scene. Local officials have urged residents to exercise caution near bodies of water.
