Rhian Ramos is staying true to her Kapuso roots, officially renewing her contract with GMA Network on Tuesday.
The Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre star turned emotional as she thanked the network that has been her home since her 2006 debut in Captain Barbell.
“I literally grew up in this network. Thank you for the patience, the guidance, and for inspiring me to be not just a good artist but a good person,” she said.
GMA Network Chairman and CEO Gilberto R. Duavit, Jr. praised Rhian’s versatility and professionalism across drama, hosting, musicals, and lifestyle shows, calling her “a fine example who makes us proud.”
Present at the signing were top GMA executives, Rhian’s manager Michael Uycoco, her mother Clara, sister Nadine, and boyfriend Sam Verzosa.
Over her 19-year career, Rhian has starred in hit Kapuso series including LaLola, The Richman’s Daughter, and Royal Blood. Now, she continues to shine as Mitena in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre—and with this renewal, her Kapuso journey is far from over.
