A total of 2,184 residents have benefited from the municipality’s free anti-rabies vaccination program from July to 5 August, the local government reported Wednesday.

The initiative, led by Mayor Archangelo “SM” Matro in partnership with the Rural Health Unit (RHU), is part of the local government’s broader and more inclusive health campaign aimed at ensuring community safety and disease prevention.

Residents have welcomed the program, citing the financial relief it brings. “Dati, nagbabayad ako apat na beses, P650 [bawat turok]. Napakalaking tulong nito,” a netizen commented.

The free anti-rabies vaccination is available every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday at the RHU located on the Municipal Hall grounds.al Hall grounds.
