After making a splash as Jay-Jay and Keifer in the hit Viva One series Ang Mutya ng Section E., Ashtine Olviga and Andres Muhlach are stepping into the spotlight once more — this time, on the big screen.

Their debut film, Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna, is written and directed by Jason Paul Laxamana, known for 100 Tula Para Kay Stella and Expensive Candy. The film explores the slow burn of young love through a story grounded in quiet moments and enduring devotion.

Andres plays Raffy, a shy flower enthusiast who spends years waiting for the right time to give blooms to Luna, a tough and focused visual artist played by Ashtine. What starts as a teenage crush grows into something more layered as they move from high school to college — navigating heartbreak, distance, and time.

“How many flowers does it take to make someone believe in love?”

That question sits at the center of Minamahal, a film that unfolds gradually, like the petals of a bouquet. It marks a new chapter for the love team that first captured attention when Ang Mutya ng Section E. went viral. The show’s trailer garnered more than 2 million views in a day and kicked off the #JayFer trend that reached audiences in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.

In the teaser for Minamahal — a 50-second clip released on July 4 — fans caught a glimpse of the pair in a more mature light. Andres is seen quietly gathering flowers in a sunlit field, eyes locking with Ashtine’s Luna. The teaser racked up 12 million views within 24 hours, building buzz ahead of the movie’s release.

Before hitting cinemas, the duo will headline VIVA ONE: VIVARKADA, a fan convention happening on August 15 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. It’s a chance to connect with supporters and showcase how far they’ve come as artists and performers.

Directed by Laxamana, Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna offers more than just a romance — it’s a coming-of-age story that traces how small acts, like giving flowers, can hold deeper meaning over time.

For Ashtine and Andres, this project marks a turning point—from breakout digital stars to lead roles in a major film. They’re no longer just part of a trend — they’re emerging as one of this generation’s most promising love teams.

A hundred flowers. One story worth watching.

Minamahal: 100 Bulaklak Para Kay Luna premieres soon in cinemas nationwide.
