A firm believer in luck and persistence has officially claimed the P97,897,380.40 jackpot prize from the Super Lotto 6/49 draw held 26 June.

The bettor’s winning ticket was purchased from a lotto outlet in Barangay Kruz na Ligas, Quezon City, and the prize was claimed at the PCSO Main Office just a day after the draw.

The winning combination, 25-08-05-27-18-16, was carefully chosen by the winner. According to him, the numbers were based on birthdays of his family members, a personal strategy he has been using for five years of playing the lotto.

The winner also shared that his relative won a lotto jackpot long ago, which strengthened his belief in the games. He regularly places bets three times a week, with his biggest prize before this jackpot being four matching numbers.
