Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon shared key updates from the 2nd Quarter Full Council Meeting of the Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC), held on 20 June at Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City.
Alongside fellow mayors from Metro Manila, Biazon said the council reviewed the region’s peace and order situation, highlighting an 8 percent drop in the crime index.
“This proves the effectiveness of the intensified anti-criminality strategies and the five-minute response time directive of our police force,” he said in an online post.
Biazon also praised the Muntinlupa Police for being named the Top Performing Police Station in the entire Southern Police District.
“I’m pleased with the performance of PNP Muntinlupa, which from January 15 to June 15 saw a reduction in incidents of homicide, carnapping, rape, theft, and robbery,” he noted.
He also emphasized the value of national support in upholding public safety, citing the backing of National Peace and Order Council (NPOC) Chairperson and Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla.
“In general, peace and order in the region remain stable and manageable as our policemen are always on top of every situation. I salute you!” Biazon added.
