SAN MARCELINO, Zambales — Authorities here have seized illegal drugs worth P5 million during an anti-illegal drugs operation ar Barangay Linasin of this town Thursday.
According to the Zambales Police Provincial Office, the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit, along with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Zambales and San Marcelino Municipal Police Station (MPS) conducted the anti-illegal drugs operation.
The operation resulted in the arrest of a 46-year-old high-value individual. Confiscated from the suspect were suspected shabu around 755 grams with a standard drug price of P5,134,000.
The suspect is held at the San Marcelino MPS and is facing charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
