Incognito star Daniel Padilla had a meaningful 30th birthday celebration as he spearheaded a tree-planting activity in Calatagan, Batangas.

In a series of posts by the actor’s talent management, Star Magic, Padilla can be seen planting trees along with several of his loyal fans.

“A birthday meaningfully spent for Daniel Padilla who collaborated with multi-awarded Filipino artist and environmentalist, AG Saño, other philanthropists, dear fans and a brand he endorses in hosting a tree planting activity in Calatagan, Batangas,” came the caption from Star Magic.

Padilla and his team braved the scorching heat to give his advocacy its much-needed push.

“DJ and fellow environmental advocates powered through the scorching summer heat as their hard work is a testament to their all-out support for Mother Earth,” the talent management company wrote.

Padilla expressed gratitude to those who joined him in the tree-planting activity, wishing it will be a constant endeavor.

“Maraming maraming salamat po sa lahat ng nagbigay ng oras ngayong araw na ‘to. Natupad nila ang ating misyon na mag-give back sa ating Inang kalikasan. Sana hindi lang ito ang first time gawin, tuloy-tuloy na nating gawin ito (Thank you to those who gave time today. They fulfilled our mission to give back to Mother Nature. I hope that this will not just a first time, but a continuing activity),” Padilla said in a short video.

Last year, Padilla’s birthday celebration came when he visited the kids of Center for Health Improvement and Life Development (CHILD) Haus and a dog and cat shelter in Arayat, Pampanga.

Padilla, who plays Andres Malvar in Incognito, related how difficult their taping was in Japan.

“Hindi talaga biro ‘yung ginagawa namin. Hindi na kami nagsusuot ng mga gear namin at nagpapa-cute (What we do here is no joke. We don’t wear a gear just to look cute),” he said.
