MIAS 2025: 20 Years on the fast track

MIAS 2025: 20 Years on the fast track
Published on:

The finest of the Philippine car industry was on display at the first Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), which was organized by WORLDBEX Services International 20 years ago. For auto aficionados who appreciate powerful and cutting-edge vehicles and want to meet like-minded individuals who enjoy living in the fast lane, MIAS still has high standards today.

The automotive industry has changed in 20 years, with the Philippines contributing to the industry through its vehicle assembly and manufacturing of vehicle components for other big car companies and manufacturers. Some of the most innovative car manufacturers hail from the East Asian continent and have introduced many innovations and improvements for their vehicles, with Japan leading the race. 57.75 percent of automotive patent applications come from Japan, while South Korea takes second place with only 16.61 percent, and Germany goes third with 12.28 percent.

These countries, along with the rest of the world, have pushed their boundaries to show just how innovative the automotive industry can be. The Philippine automotive industry has proven its willingness to evolve and adapt to the changes within the global industry, thanks to the growing demand for AI-assisted self-driving cars that will help automate the driving experience for Filipino drivers. The Manila International Auto Show will be at the forefront of showcasing the future of the industry and bringing more eyes toward the future of innovation in 2025.

Be driven by connections and celebrate our 20 years of automotive excellence when you come to the Manila International Auto Show 2025, happening from 10 to 13 April 2025, at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
