Suzuki Philippines made a strong impression at the 2025 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) by launching the all-new Suzuki Dzire Hybrid, a compact sedan now fitted with Suzuki’s hybrid tech. Leading the reveal was Norihide Takei, Suzuki Philippines’ director and general manager for the Automobile Division, as part of the company’s 50th anniversary celebration in the country.

In his speech, Mr. Takei shared why this model matters in Suzuki’s local journey. “We are proud to unveil the All-New Dzire Hybrid — a vehicle designed to give every Filipino a stylish yet practical driving experience. With advanced features, hybrid efficiency, and premium styling, it redefines what a compact sedan can be,” he said. He also pointed to Suzuki’s ongoing push to provide smart, fuel-saving vehicles for Filipino drivers.

The All-New Dzire Hybrid gets a sleeker look with a revamped front end, chrome-accented grille, and LED multi-light headlamps. Its smooth, sculpted body lines extend to redesigned rear lamps, giving the car a cleaner and bolder road presence. Inside, it offers a more spacious feel, with dual-tone interior touches, a better layout, and a dashboard focused on the driver. The GLX version comes with a 9-inch touchscreen that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, blending convenience and connectivity. Backseat passengers get plenty of legroom, rear AC vents, and a foldable center armrest for added comfort.

Under the hood is Suzuki’s new 1.2-liter Z12E 3-cylinder gasoline engine matched with a hybrid system and a CVT. This combo improves both power delivery and fuel economy, while hybrid tech adds helpful features like auto start-stop and motor assist. The result is a smoother, quieter ride that’s great for city commutes and long drives alike.

Safety was also clearly a focus in this update, with six airbags now standard in all trims, covering front, side and curtain areas for full protection. It’s also equipped with Electronic Stability Program, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Hill Hold Control, plus rear parking sensors with a camera. Combined with a tougher frame, these upgrades helped the Dzire earn a 5-Star Global NCAP Safety Rating for adult protection, giving drivers peace of mind wherever they go.

Suzuki Philippines confirmed that the All-New Dzire Hybrid will be available nationwide at all Suzuki dealerships by the end of the month. Pricing is set at P920,000 for the GL CVT Hybrid and P998,000 for the GLX CVT Hybrid.

Buyers will have a few eye-catching shades to pick from, depending on the variant they choose. The GL comes in bold Gallant Red Pearl, crisp Arctic White Pearl, or the sleek Magma Gray Metallic. Meanwhile, the top-spec GLX adds a bit more flair with the option of Alluring Blue Pearl Metallic, along with the same White and Gray choices. Whether you’re into something loud or low-key, there’s a color that fits your style.

At MIAS, visitors to the Suzuki booth can also check out other bestsellers like the adventure-ready Jimny in both 3-door and 5-door versions, the practical Ertiga Hybrid, and the upgraded XL7 Hybrid in Black. Guests are welcome to take test drives of the Dzire, Jimny 5-Door, XL7 Hybrid, and S-Presso. The booth also has fun games, interactive zones, and a Suzuki Safety Scouts area where kids can learn about road safety through play.

As Suzuki celebrates 50 years of building trusted relationships with Filipino motorists, the company remains committed to delivering quality, safe, practical, and environment-friendly mobility solutions for all.
