The Philippines has provided humanitarian assistance to those affected by the conflict in Gaza, the Office of Civil Defense (OCD) reported Sunday.
OCD Administrator Undersecretary Ariel Nepomuceno led the turnover of essential supplies — including 8,323 bonnets, 3,187 pairs of gloves, and 20 blankets — to the Jordanian Consulate on 7 February.
The donation supports the Humanitarian Air Bridge Campaign of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
In a statement on Sunday, Nepomuceno expressed the country’s sympathy for those affected by the crisis in Gaza.
“We stand in solidarity with all those impacted by this tragedy and recognize the urgency of the situation,” he said.
