Oakwood has launched its "All You Knead is Comfort" campaign, celebrating the universal connection of comfort food and its ability to evoke a sense of home and warmth. Running through 31 March, 2025, the campaign invites guests to engage in food-focused experiences, including culinary activations, cooking classes, and exclusive collaborations with renowned chefs at Oakwood properties worldwide.
The campaign emphasizes comfort food as a unifying language across cultures. It features Oakwood’s first digital cookbook, Comfort, Curated, a collection of recipes from Oakwood chefs across 12 countries. The cookbook highlights regional comfort food favorites and is available for free download on the campaign’s webpage, allowing guests to recreate flavors from their travels or home.
Featured recipes include Indonesia’s chewy rice dessert, Klepon, shared by Chef Arie Nurandi of Oakwood Premier Cozmo Jakarta. Chef Nixon Low from Oakwood Studios Singapore offers a reimagined Hainanese Chicken Rice Nigiri with a Japanese twist, while Chef Reagan Fernandes of Oakwood Residence Kapil Hyderabad highlights Haleem, a hearty Indian stew. Other dishes include Khmer Margherita Pizza from Cambodia, King Fish Tacos from Australia, and traditional Chinese dumplings for Lunar New Year celebrations.
Oakwood properties are also hosting exclusive culinary activities. In Bangkok, MasterChef Thailand finalist Pawat Kritsaruenon will lead a masterclass at Oakwood Suites Bangkok, teaching guests to prepare simple Thai recipes. Meanwhile, Oakwood Apartments PIK Jakarta will feature a special menu by Indonesian celebrity Chef Devina Hermawan in February 2025.
In China, Oakwood’s Lunar New Year celebrations will include cooking classes on traditional dishes such as dumplings and Tang Yuan (sweet glutinous rice balls). Across all properties, limited-time menus and culinary workshops allow guests to immerse themselves in local cuisines.
