The Philippine Army on Tuesday cautioned the public about the proliferation of fake information regarding the recruitment process for aspiring soldiers.
In a press conference at Camp Aguinaldo, Army spokesperson Col. Louie Dema-ala dismissed rumors that the service requests any form of payment from applicants as part of the application process.
“We remind everyone that the Philippine Army does not accept payment of any kind from its applicants and aspiring soldiers,” Dema-ala emphasized.
He also urged netizens to use social media responsibly, noting that official recruitment announcements and online application forms can only be found on the Philippine Army’s official website.
“The Philippine Army once again reminds the public to rely solely on the official recruitment website for accurate information,” he said.
