Does the cliche, “A fish is caught by its mouth” hold true for It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu? We’re asking this as Chiu’s co-hosts were seemingly ganging up on the Chinita Princess in a recent episode of It’s Showtime.
Chiu’s bestfriend, Darren Espanto revealed the actresshost bought a bike.
“Bumili ng bike, Tyang, kasi gusto niyang maging active,” Espanto told Amy Perez. (She bought a bike, Tyang, because she wants to be active).
“May bike na talaga ako. Binigay ‘yung bike. Bigay ‘yun (I already have a bike. The bike was given. It’s was given),” Chiu countered.
“Bigay niya?” Vhong Navarro asked without saying who the giver was.
In exasperation perhaps as she was being grilled, Chiu said, “Anong show ‘to? Huy, tama na. Ano ‘to, presscon? (What show is this? Hey, you stop. What is this, a presscon?)”
“Hindi, Showing Bulilit ‘to. Hindi ito presscon (No, it’s Showing Bulilit. It’s not a presscon),” Perez replied.

TV host Robi Domingo fervently hopes to dance again with his former group, Gigger Boys.
This, he articulated when asked if he will display his terpsichorean skills in Time To Dance, a dance reality show he’s hosting with Gela Atayde which premiered last weekend.
Also in the show are AC Bonifacio and Darren Espanto, and dance coaches Chips Beltran, Lema Dia and Jobel Dayrit as guest judges and coaches.
The theme song of Time to Dance was sung by Kyle Echarri and Gela Atayde.
Will Domingo display his dancing skills in the show?
“I think pinanghawakan ko po dati ‘yun (I was holding on to it) especially when I was part of the Gigger Boys,” Domingo said during the mediacon for the show last weekend, relating he just saw Sam Concepcion and they had a short chitchat.
“But we were talking about it with Gela. I don’t know if it will happen. Hopefully in the grand finals. Let’s see!” he added.
“And also not just in the grand finals, but also on the 30th anniversary celebration ng ASAP. And I personally wish the Gigger Boys will be back for nostalgic feels lang, ‘di ba?” he said.
Former members of Gigger Boys were Sam Concepcion, Enchong Dee, Arron Villaflor, Dino Imperial, Chris Gutierrez and the late AJ Perez.
Domingo related he just returned to the country after celebrating their first anniversary in Japan. Domingo was married to Maiqui Pineda 6 January 2024 in a church in Pulilan, Bulacan.
“Kasi last year, naudlot po ‘yung honeymoon. Kasi, right after the wedding, andami-daming personal stuff na nangyari (It’s because last year, our honeymoon got delayed. It’s because right after the wedding, there were so many personal stuff that happened),” Domingo related.
Domingo was grateful that he and his wife had the opportunity to go to Japan, saying that initially they were supposed to go to Europe.
“But we told each other, let’s go to somewhere na familiar kami, and that’s Japan. So we spent nine days there,” he said, adding that they visited Sapporo and Hokkaido.
“And then we went back to Tokyo where I proposed. So, dumaan na naman kami sa Shibuya Crossing,” he shared.
An episode of Tadhana that aired two weeks ago received a barrage of criticisms after a scene with Alec Bovick and an unknown starlet reportedly from Sparkle went viral on X (formerly Twitter).
The scene had the young starlet berating Bovick’s character. In a fit of fury, the female starlet pushed Bovick who fell on the ground along with the table and plates.
Bovick was shown on the pavement and her hand was cut and the female starlet continued berating her.
As the female starlet was about to go, the scene showed the table standing while Bovick was still slumped on the ground. With this, netizens on X were in disbelief. They felt that the scene showed some kind of stupidity.
