The critically acclaimed Broadway musical Into The Woods is set to enchant audiences in the Philippines this August, as announced by Theatre Group Asia.
The production will take center stage at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati.
Originally helmed by legendary composer Stephen Sondheim and writer James Lapine, the musical debuted in 1986 and has since become a beloved classic.
The musical masterfully weaves together the tales of Brothers Grimm fairy tale characters like Jack and the Beanstalk, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Little Red Riding Hood, exploring their wishes, adventures, and consequences.
Fans may also recall the 2014 Disney film adaptation, directed by Rob Marshall and starring Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, Anna Kendrick, and Johnny Depp, which brought the story to a global audience.
