
Heads up, theater enthusiasts! The ticket details for the Philippine production of Into the Woods have been released.
Theatre Group Asia (TGA) on Sunday, 16 February, announced the seat plan and ticket prices for the musical.
The ticket prices are as follows:
The Woods (VIP) – P6,000
The Palace (A Reserve) – P5,500
The Forbidden Tower (B Reserve) – P4,750
Grandmother’s House (C Reserve) – P3,500
The Farm (D Reserve) – P2,800
The Baker’s House (E Reserve) – P1,800
Giant’s Lair (F Reserve) – P1,500
Tickets are expected to be available soon via TicketWorld, according to TGA.
The musical will be held on a limited engagement run, with 18 performances from 7 to 24 August at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater.
This production of Into the Woods is a much-awaited event in the Philippine theater scene, as it boasts a talented cast that includes Lea Salonga as the Witch, Eugene Domingo as Jack’s Mother, Nyoy Volante as the Baker, Mikkie Bradshaw-Volante as the Baker’s Wife, Nic Chien as Jack, Joreen Bautista as Rapunzel, and Mark Bautista as Rapunzel’s Prince.
Directed by Chari Arespacochaga, with Clint Ramos serving as the overall creative and artistic director, this production brings a fresh take on the beloved musical. Based on the book by James Lapine, Into the Woods follows the story of a couple's wish to have a child, intertwining the plots of classic fairy tales such as Jack and the Beanstalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Rapunzel.
