GMA Network proudly unveils "Prinsesa ng City Jail," a tale of hope and inspiration, premiering 13 January on GMA Afternoon Prime.
Headlined by Sparkle stars Sofia Pablo as Princess, a devoted adoptive daughter of a jail guard, and Allen Ansay as Xavier, an angsty teenager, the series explores complex relationships and personal growth. Adding depth to the narrative are Dominic Ochoa as Raymond, Denise Laurel as Divina, and Beauty Gonzalez as Sharlene.
Also in the cast are Ayen Munji-Laurel as Leilani, Xavier's estranged mother; Jean Saburit as Sonya, Raymond's manipulative mother; Keempee De Leon as Dado, Princess' adoptive father; Ina Feleo as Jenny, Divina's cousin; Will Ashley as Onse, Princess' childhood friend; Radson Flores as Justin, Xavier's best friend; Pauline Mendoza as Mimi, Sharlene's sister; and Lauren King as Libby, the entitled daughter of Sharlene and Raymond.
The series follows Princess, a young girl raised near a prison by her jail guard father, as she brings hope and light to the lives of convicted criminals while searching for her estranged mother.
