Muted conversations as of late suggest that Rufa Mae Quinto's eight year marriage to husband Trevor Magallanes might be on shaky ground.
A report by Expat Media, a United Arab Emirates-based news portal, on 9 December, claimed that Rufa Mae Quinto "has once again captured public attention following the release of a private conversation that seemingly confirmed rumors of her split from husband Trevor Magallanes."
According to the article, "Magallanes, a financial analyst based in the US, recently took to Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of an emotionally charged exchange between him and Quinto. The conversation, fraught with tension, featured Quinto expressing her readiness to leave their relationship."
The report further detailed Quinto's posts on social media, quoting her as saying:
“Just shut up and I’m leaving you forever. Just let me leave peacefully, and hope u okay [sic],” Quinto was quoted.
She also reportedly wrote, "If you want me out of your life it’s ok, just don’t be mean to me. I need support for Athena; she just needs her dad to see her."
There were already tell-tale signs that Quinto's marriage was already on the rocks when Magallanes was conspicuously absent from their daughter's birthday party last year. He was also missing from the Christmas family photos last year.
