The weather bureau on Friday said most parts of the country will experience rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone.

In its latest weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the ITCZ will prevail over Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are likely over MIMAROPA, the Bicol Region, the Visayas, and Mindanao.

PAGASA warned that moderate to heavy rains may result in flash floods or landslides in affected areas.

Meanwhile, PAGASA forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said the rest of Luzon will have fair weather conditions. However, he said isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms are also likely to occur.

Warm weather is expected in Metro Manila, with the temperature reaching 33°C, he said.

PAGASA also forecast temperatures of up to 35°C in Tuguegarao and 32°C in Laoag.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail across the archipelago, PAGASA said.
