Korean superstar group BTS reached a milestone when it won seven awards at the 2022 Fact Music Awards held in person on 8 October at the KSPO Dome in Seoul.
A live streaming allowed fans to watch online the awarding ceremony.
The seven-member group, which is currently on hiatus — won Baesang, the grand prize, for the fifth straight year.
The rest of the awards were Artist of the Year (Bonsang), Fan N Star Most Voted Award, Idol Plus Popularity Award, Global Fan N Star Award, and overall Fan N Star Choice Award, while BTS member Jin won Fan J Star Choice award, his first solo award.
RM, accepting the award in behalf of BTS, said: "Shout out to all the ARMYs out there — Asia, Africa, North or South America, Australia, Pacific, anywhere. We love you, we miss you, we wanna play with you, we wanna see you, we wanna touch you, we wanna feel you…"
Though BTS members are pursuing solo careers at present, the group will perform in a free concert on 15 October KST in Busan for South Korea's campaign for the World Expo 2030.
