CAAP’s training center secures seat on ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Steering Committee

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines's (CAAP) training center has secured a seat on the International Civil Aviation Organization TRAINAIR PLUS Steering Committee, marking a first in the training center’s history.
The Civil Aviation Training Authority (CATC) received 76 votes, earning one of the 21 seats open to nominees from around the world during the recently concluded selection process.
“This achievement is a proud milestone for CATC and CAAP. It gives us an opportunity to contribute to international discussions on aviation training, share our experiences, and learn from other countries as we work to strengthen the competencies of the Next Generation of Aviation Professionals,” said CAAP Director General Retired Lt. Gen. Raul Del Rosario.
CATC’s representation on the TPSC provides the Philippines an opportunity to participate in shaping international aviation training initiatives and contribute to global efforts in capacity development.
CAAP reaffirmed its commitment to advancing Philippine civil aviation through quality training and workforce development.
