Honda Philippines Inc. (HPI) will limit production of its RS125 Final Edition to 20,000 units, with the motorcycle set to remain available until March 2028 as the company prepares to retire the model after nearly two decades.
The RS125 has recorded more than 350,000 units in cumulative Philippine sales since its introduction, making it one of Honda’s established models in the local underbone motorcycle segment.
The Final Edition, introduced on 14 September, carries a suggested retail price of P77,000 and is available through Honda Exclusive Shops.
Honda said the decision to end the RS125’s production run comes as it prepares to allocate more resources to future motorcycle models. The company has not announced a direct replacement.
The motorcycle retains its familiar 125cc engine and sporty underbone design, with several cosmetic changes that distinguish the Final Edition from earlier versions.
These include new stealth stripe graphics across the body panels and an exclusive Final Edition signature. Buyers can choose between Matte Axis Gray Metallic and Pearl Sylvestris Gray.
The RS125 also retains its integrated headlight and visor, sporty front fender and sharply styled taillight.
Honda also has not specified how the 20,000 units will be allocated among dealerships or whether sales could end earlier if stocks are exhausted before March 2028.
The RS125 takes its name from Road Sport, while 125 refers to its engine displacement. The model has served generations of Filipino riders as a motorcycle for daily transportation.
With the Final Edition, Honda is preparing to close one of its longer-running motorcycle nameplates in the Philippine market.
