Top 9 regional most wanted person arrested in Eastern Samar

Police arrested a 33-year-old man listed as one of the region’s most wanted persons during an operation in Barangay Caghalong, Can-avid, Eastern Samar on October 1, 2026.
The suspect, identified only as alias “Emer,” was arrested by personnel of the Can-avid Municipal Police Station pursuant to a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 57 in Angeles City.
The warrant, dated June 8, 2026, was issued by acting presiding judge Rigor Remondo Pascual in connection with a criminal case. No bail was recommended.
The operation was conducted by Can-avid MPS under acting chief of police PCPT Eula Marie S. Tagaduar, with support from the Provincial Intelligence Unit of the Eastern Samar Police Provincial Office, Police Station 5 of the Angeles City Police Office, Regional Intelligence Unit-Central Intelligence Team Angeles, and the 801st Maneuver Company of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion 8.
Police said the suspect was informed of the nature of his arrest and his constitutional rights in a language known to him.
He was brought to Can-avid MPS for documentation and processing before his turnover to the court of origin.
Tagaduar commended the operating personnel for their coordination and intelligence-sharing efforts that led to the arrest.
“For every victim, we stand for justice. Through strong coordination, intelligence sharing, and community partnership, we will continue to pursue offenders, uphold the law, and protect our community,” Tagaduar said.
The suspect remains under police custody pending his turnover to the court and further legal proceedings.
