The Municipality of Dr. Jose P. Rizal in Palawan is hosting the 28th Southern Palawan Inter-Municipality Friendship Meet, bringing together participating municipalities for four days of competition and sportsmanship.

The event runs from 9 to 12 September in Dr. Jose P. Rizal, with athletes, coaches and officials competing in various sporting events.

Organizers said the meet aims to promote teamwork, sportsmanship, unity and friendship among communities across Southern Palawan.

The municipality welcomed the participating delegations and called on athletes and supporters to make the event a celebration of camaraderie and the fighting spirit of Southern Palawan.

The 2026 gathering continues the Friendship Meet’s tradition of bringing communities together through sports while providing athletes an opportunity to compete with pride and honor.
