Police arrested a 44-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man following a complaint of alleged adultery at a motel in Barangay Bolaney here on 25 August.
The complainant, a 47-year-old married driver and resident of Alaminos City, sought police assistance after allegedly seeing his wife with another man and following them to an inn.
According to the initial police investigation, the complainant was near an eatery along the Bypass Road in Barangay Tanaytay at around 6:30 p.m. when he saw his wife, identified as “F,” 44, married and jobless, leaving the establishment with another man, identified as “M,” 44, also married and a resident of Alaminos City.
The two reportedly boarded a Honda Click 125 motorcycle and traveled westbound along the Bypass Road. The complainant followed them until they reached Empress Inn in Barangay Bolaney, where he allegedly saw the two enter the motel.
The complainant then proceeded to the Alaminos City Police Station and requested police assistance. Responding personnel went to the motel and waited outside.
After about an hour, police said they saw the two suspects leave the establishment. The complainant confronted them and asked what they had been doing inside the motel.
His wife allegedly told him that they had only been talking inside the establishment.
Police subsequently arrested the two suspects and brought them to the Western Pangasinan District Hospital for medical examination before taking them to the Alaminos City Police Station for proper disposition.
The case was reported to the police station at around 7 p.m. and to the Pangasinan Police Provincial Office at 7:25 p.m.
The suspects are facing a complaint for alleged violation of Article 333 of the Revised Penal Code, or adultery.
