Silvestre said the confrontation caused panic among nearby students, which allegedly triggered mass hysteria.
Several students subsequently reported feeling unwell and experiencing dizziness.
School personnel and emergency responders provided medical assistance to the affected students, all of whom received prompt care.
The two minors involved in the altercation were taken to the Jamindan Municipal Police Station’s Women and Children Protection Desk for appropriate intervention.
Classes at Jamindan National High School were suspended Tuesday as officials assessed the situation and worked to ensure the safety of students and staff.
Police and school administrators are continuing to investigate the cause of the underlying dispute.
