  • The Provincial Government of Zambales has received two Patient Transport Vehicles (PTVs) from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) during the awarding ceremony held in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga on 24 July 2026.

    President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. personally handed over the keys to the PTVs to Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr. during the President's visit to the Province of Pampanga.

    PCSO General Manager Hon. Melquiades A. Robles and Chairperson Judge Felix P. Reyes (Ret.) led the distribution of vehicles along with President Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos.

    The said vehicles will vs used as Emergency Response Vehicles to immediately respond to accidents, medical emergencies, and safe transport of patients in need of medical services.

    President Marcos said that his administration has achieved its goal of providing PTVs to every province, city and municipality in the country. He added that the government will continue to broaden health programs to expedite medical response to every Filipinos.

    Governors from Ilocos Region (Region I), Cagayan Valley (Region II), Central Luzon (Region III), and Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) also received PTVs from the national government.

    Damarie A. Morales, Branch Manager of PCSO Olongapo-Zambales; Rolex Estella of PDRRMO; Dr. Noel C. Bueno of Provincial Health Office and Ospital of Sta. Cruz; Dr. Cresencio T. Gonzales of San Marcelino District Hospital, aling with Chief Nurse Lester Ragadio; and Ms. Larraine B. Rico, Executive Assistant to the Governor were all present during the distribution ceremony.

    "Lubos ang pasasalamat ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Zambales, sa pamumuno ng inyong lingkod Gob. Jun Ebdane, sa PCSO at sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Marcos sa patuloy na suporta at pagkakaisa sa pagpapalakas ng serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa kapakinabangan ng bawat Pilipino," Ebdane said.

    He added, "Makaaasa ang bawat Zambaleño na patuloy nating ilalapit ang mga serbisyong may malasakit, mabilis na pagtugon, at dekalidad na pangangalagang medikal sa bawat sulok ng ating lalawigan."

    President Marcos led the ceremonial distribution of 34 PTVs at the Pampanga Provincial Capitol grounds in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga, completing a 100% nationwide rollout to all 82 provinces in the Philippines.
