Xiaomi has introduced the Smart Camera C701 Pro, a new home security camera that combines AI-powered monitoring, high-resolution video, and privacy features for families looking to keep an eye on their homes remotely.

The C701 Pro features 9x Ultra-HD Zoom, automatic person and pet tracking, and color imaging in low-light conditions, allowing users to monitor children, elderly family members, pets, or other areas of the home more clearly.

The camera also supports AI-powered detection for people, pets, crying babies, unusual sounds, and motion. Xiaomi said these functions are processed on the device to enhance privacy, while transmitted data is encrypted.

Other features include two-way voice calling, gesture-activated calls through the Xiaomi Home app, WiFi 6 connectivity, Bluetooth pairing, and a physical lens cover that lets users block the camera when monitoring is not needed.
